Story: Rice Seedling Indigo Bandana
The Rice Seedling Indigo Bandana is hand stitched and tied then dipped into the naturally fermented indigo vat following the ancient textile traditions of Northern Vietnam.
Made by Lan and her daughters and daughters-in-law in the mountains near Sapa.

Small-scale production, not certified organic but no chemicals are used.
Naturally fermented indigo dye. Dip dyed 12 times for a saturated colour.
Care
Handwash in cool water.
Line dry.
Hot iron.
We use ancient fermented indigo. There will be some colour rub when new so avoid contact with light colour fabrics and upholstery.
