Story: The Medium Embroidered Cushion - Orange & Blue

The medium woven indigo cushion - orange & blue is made from vintage reworked indigo cotton blankets made by the Nùng people of Northern Vietnam, who have a rich textile history. Tamay sourced the blankets, and they were reworked in our Bristol studio to breathe new life into old fabric, with an even older history.

 

Measurements: 12.5in x 26in, please allow for ~0.5 inches difference due to the handmade nature of the product.

 

Please note this is not sold with filler, but as a pillowcase.

Materials

100% Vintage Indigo Cotton

Small-scale production, not certified organic but no chemicals are used.

Naturally fermented indigo dye. Dip dyed 12 times for a saturated colour.

Care

Handwash in cool water.
Line dry.
Hot iron.
