The Indigo Rooftops Scarf: A unique stitch resist pattern made by gathered running stitch through the cloth and then dip dyed 12 times.
Made by Lan and her daughters and daughters-in-law in the mountains near Sapa.
Two panels are hand-stitched together by Yiv with indigo-dyed, handspun cotton thread.
Raw top and bottom edge
Vietnamese, handspun and handwoven cotton that will soften and become increasingly beautiful with time and wear.

100% Cotton
Small-scale production, not certified organic but no chemicals are used.
Naturally fermented indigo dye. Tie Dyed.
Care
Handwash in cool water.
Line dry.
Hot iron.
We use ancient fermented indigo. There will be some colour rub when new so avoid contact with light colour fabrics and upholstery.
