Story: Indigo Cushion with Flying Birds
The Indigo Cushion with Flying Birds is a double sided cushion (back is plain indigo) featuring our flying bird motif created with tie resist circles. Made with our signature handspun, handwoven cotton cloth, dyed with naturally fermented indigo dipped in the indigo vat 12 times.
Tie resist by Lan and her daughters and daughters-in-law in the mountains near Sapa.
Sewn in Hanoi by Lan.

Materials
100% Cotton
Small-scale production, not certified organic but no chemicals are used.
Naturally fermented indigo dye. Dip dyed 12 times for a saturated colour.
Care
Handwash in cool water.
Line dry.
Hot iron.
We use ancient fermented indigo. There will be some colour rub when new so avoid contact with light colour fabrics and upholstery.
