STORY
The embroidery is reclaimed from Mien old clothes providing income for as many families as we can, Tamay is careful to select exquisite embroideries from families most in need of revenue at a certain time. This particular piece is older and very fine with great natural colours.
The embroidery features tiger teeth. There used to be tigers in the mountains in north Vietnam and Southern China. This pattern was designed to scare a tiger away if a woman met with one in the mountains!
